2006 Jetta TDI, pkg 2, 5 speed
Hello, I bought my first VW TDI last month. An 06 Jetta, pkg 2, 5 speed with 18,400 miles. I am coming up on 20,000 miles and am looking for any advice on where I should get the service done. Also, about how much does the 20,000 mile service cost?

At the moment I am leaning toward the AutoHaus in Yourktown but if there are any recommended places/people I would sure like to know!

Thanks all in advance for the help!

Don

I like Dave Morrill down in Virginia Beach at Checkered Flag. PM Basenji (that's my dad) for other recs.

More importantly, welcome! :)

Hi,

I highly recommend Car54. But if you prefer closer to Newport News, I recommend Paul Smyers. He is a mechanic at Casey Imports (VW Dealer) and does some work on the side. He hangs out online at www.sevenfivesevendubs.com. I cannot recall his screen name at the moment (Evil GTI?). But look him up there.

Good Luck,

Scott

Thanks guys. I have sent a PM to Car 54 hoping he will be able to service my car in Franklin. Waiting to hear back from him...

Kind of a late reply, but try Frank (username G60ing). He did some work for me, very cool guy! He has a shop out in Chesapeake. Also has a very cool Corrado he did a TDI swap on...
