Can VCDS be used to disable "disarm/arm alarm w/key" and window roll up /down ?

Well the title says everything, can VCDS be used to disable "disarm arm alarm with key in door" and "window roll up down with key in door"? I am trying to make the car a little more secure. TIA

VCDS not needed. Disconnect the wiring to the door lock. It would still physically unlock with the key but the CCM would no longer recognize that the key was turned.

yes, vcds can do that. im not sure which module it lies in but maybe central convenience? maybe central electronics?

use the long coding helper and scan for those features.

VCDS can do that on 2006 and up. He lists a 2000 Jetta in his profile.

Yes its a 2000 Jetta. As far as VCDS goes- Im not sure I can do much with it. I will have to do some more testing this week.

As far as making it more secure- I was looking around different UK VW forums and they seem to like the de-lock kit, some prefer cutting a wire going to the lock - and I am leaning towards doing that (cutting the wire going to the drivers door).
