vw touran esp light

just bought a touran (golf engine) tdi 140 pd and this is the problem

the esp light is always on no matter what even if i press the switch and wondering what this could be?

There are just too many to list....
OBD works, I'd start there. May be the switch is bad, but you'd need to monitor that data block in the ABS module to see (or check for DTCs, first... it may already point you in the direction of what is wrong).

Ok thanks i put in in the garage near me today and they are looking into it
