rims and tires

our 2000TDI jetta is dead botched timing belt change beyond fixing We are purchasing a new jetta 2019 comfortline 16 in wheels Does anybody know if the old rims and tires will fit the new jetta is 205/65/60 the old 195/65/15 Thanks Paige

The rims have a different bolt pattern.

All vw mk4’s wheel bolt pattern is 5x100

All Mk5’s and up are 5x112 bolt pattern.

Now if you meant to say 205/55R16 and 195/65R15 then there an idea that will work. Just buy a set of rims for the 15" tires and you can use them up too. Aftermarket 15" rims are not very expensive.

We run 16" rims with the 205's on our Jetta in summer and the factory 15" rims with winter tires on them for the winter. Both tires are similar in height.
