Don't know about the new Sharan, but the outgoing model is rated to tow 4400 lbs in Europe.Cheesy Rider said:If they sell it in the USA, I will almost certainly buy one as long as it has a manual transmission available and can tow at least 1500 lbs.
Don't worry, you will not see it here.Damn True said:Minivan?
Unless it has a Westfalia and the same tow rating as the Touareg I'm totally uninterested.
Now show her pictures of the SharanHanibel75 said:Her: Does it come with a diesel?
Me: No
Her: Why not?
Me: Because VW doesn't think it will sell here.
Her: Thats stupid.

What model year?
I was walking through the living room, and saw a few
seconds of a Routan commercial, and realized as I
walked off, that the number on the screen was "2009".
Sure enough, on the US VW web site, they are still
selling new-in-box 2009 Routs. There are also 2010
models, although what the difference might be, other
than build date, is not obvious. Still no TDI of course.
The 2009s could be 24 month old vehicles.
_______
Don't wait! It's a Chrysler! But with a higher price tag!
Even the 2010s?
Well, no. Those are Fiats with a higher price tag!
