unbelievable for Europeans, but Diesel cars still seems to be "loud and noisy" for the average American buyer.
Let me tell you a story about my (American) boss in Germany. He's lucky enough to have an Audi A8 4.2 TDI as a company car.
When his car was for service, he got an Audi A8 W12 (12 cylinder gasoline engine) with 420hp from the local Audi/VW dealer.
When I asked him, how he liked the W12 he told me: "Yeah, not bad. But I'm missing the torque. Hope to have my tractor back soon...".
