I have a 2014 Mk7 TDI with the basic Composition Color infotainment unit (no phone support, the CD is below the screen and not in the glovebox).
I ran into a seller that sells the Composition Media unit (bigger screen, Bluetooth, etc. with the CD and SD card slot inside the glovebox). The seller says that it's only been used a week (and it looks brand new) because the owner installed a high-end Kenwood system. Now I have a couple of questions.

- How hard would it be to install this considering I don't have the unit in the glovebox already?
- Do I have to worry about Component Protection? The seller says that the unit comes with "unlocking codes". Do I enter these myself or?
