Ive got a tdi beetle 05, i recently checked the fuses after a stereo blew a fuse. Now ive no glow plug light and no start.
So far ive checked all fuses, replaced relay 109, new battery. Im a loss and getting pretty desperate, could something have come loose behind the fuse box..

Any help greatly appreciated
Thanks

Do all the warning lights come on when you turn the key to the on position?
Does it crank when you turn it to start?

Maybe you can pull a tail light bulb and see if the glow plug light comes on. At least you can rule out the light on the dash. Test the voltage going to the glow plug harness to se if you are getting the 12+Volts.

The light should come on during a key cycle so it may be burnt.

You have a fuse blown or a bad relay 109, the no CEL or Glow plug light means the ECU is not powering up properly(or at all)

I'm don't think the OP has a 12v glow plug system. My '05 PD is more like 5-7 volts. A proper diagnosis is what you should seek such as VCDS.
