Timing belt done by Oliver(TdiRacing). Discovered a lobe on the camshaft is pitted (likely one of the 'bad stock' camshafts VW won't do anything about...) Going to finish cleaning the interior, wash outside, and put on summer wheels/tires. Tomorrow will likely be RC III ASV upgrade fun!

Took my wagon down to a Rice Village car shop to have the carpet and pad removed and hung up to dry. (It took in a few gallons of rainwater during the Memorial Day weekend.) Anything I should do while the interior's out?

Uber, YES, get you some sound deadener material and put it down on your floor and all exposed metal. it will make a WORLD of difference in respect to ambient noise volume while driving. and if you get frisky, do the door panels(inside) again, a whole nother world of quiet comfort.

Sounds like a good idea. I'll give it a try.

The car looks great, delvi. My Golf has kind of ghetto tint from the PO and I may have it re-done.

G60ING put on my Eibach springs/FSDs, next day installed a Scangauge, and removed my rear spoiler (PITA!).

thanks men!!
how is the climatronic working?
'tis outstanding :D

had to fix a cracked housing on the blower fan, but luckily that's servicable without taking the airbox out. 1/2 hour repair. :)

other than that, keep your fingers crossed. no error codes or readily apparent issues :)

Went over the '99.5 Golf with a clay bar and prepped it for Zaino. It sure is red.
