Hi So i recently picked up a 06 jetta with DSG. It has 170k on it. I replaced the bad DMF. Was wondering if i should reset the adaptations to learn me and the non broken DMF. It shifts fine now but a little wired from take off's. Has anyone had any issues with reseting the adaptations?

AFAIK, the DSG isn't capable of "learning" a driver's style. The adaptation simply makes internal adjustments for clutch wear.
If I'm wrong, someone will certainly correct me!

I used a Bosch diagnostic tool on mine, transmission adaptions and there's a heading for driven clutch learn. You have to drive the car changing through the gears using k1 and k2 clutches X number of times. Just follow the instructions, it's easy, takes about 20 min drive
