Egr tuning problems

I have a question on 1.9 tdi tuning. I have a 2005.5 1.9t Jetta. I want to do an EGR delete. If I do an egr delete will I still be able to do a Malone stage 1.5 tune without any issues with the tune or any problems that make the car run bad.

Pretty sure that the tune will delete the EGR's operation. My Rocket Chip tune did.

It all depends upon the design of the tune.
If you have a "tune" that remaps the EGR duty cycle or a dynamic EGR and then "over-write" that tune with just a straight 1.5 tune (w/ standard EGR duty cycle)...you've just turned the EGR back on.

Each tune is specific and the EGR can be left active, deleted or have a temperature mapped EGR duty cycle.
