Hi Andrew82, welcome to the club. No you do not need to delete anything to run Malone Stage 2. I actually just got Malone's stage 2 tune and DSG tune on my 2010 Golf. I waited about a year after the fix and in that time my dpf cracked and intake manifold threw a code so I got those replaced on VW's dime with the extended emissions warranty then I got the tune. Malone's stage 2 tune will bring back the fun to your car. You may see a slight MPG improvement if you keep your foot out of it. 178k miles on my Golf.

Just be advised you probably won't have the warranty to fall back on if you have any issues. The tune will more than likely void any coverage for that. Enjoy your tune if you go that route.
