BRM oil pressure gauge install

hmmm....oil filter housing ports are taken up by the turbo feed line and what i assume to be the oem oil sensor.

Any ideas guys? i'd rather not T into either one if possible

Take a mirror or boroscope and look at the back of the head, I believe there's a plug or two that can be used for an oil pressure sensor. I'll have to look at the pictures of the head when I removed it to see there were any ports that were accessible.

can i just get rid of the oem sensor and just thread in my sender unit or will that make the car freak out?

It's a very good way to do it, because the rubber hose means vibrations from the engine don't shake all the fittings loose or cause cracks.

Just don't forget to ground the sensors, using the ground wires supplied. :)

Now you're making me miss my oil pressure gauge. :D
