2010 "Salsa Red" Jetta TDI
Hello,

I am torn between some different colors that would be good on my car.

I have a Red 2010 TDI Sedan. Now the red in comparison to another Jetta or GTI with red is different, it's a little more dark, not as flashy, yet still quite red.

I have the 16" biolines. I would paint these.

My plan is to either go all black including rims with painted calipers or White rims with current setup on the car left alone (chrome grill, windows, VW symbols).

I need help in figuring out which direction to go. What color should I do my Calipers? Gold? Blue? I would do red, but the red is off red color in comparison to my car.

This is my current car.

PLEASE HELP

I think white rims would look cheesy. Black is the way to go for sure.

Calipers I would do in black or silver.

Leaving all the logos in chrome would be fine but doing a switch to all black would be appropriate. You can also do a carbon fiber wrap on the window chrome. My friend has this on his black G8 and it looks OEM and very classy.

I'm not a fan of all black. This seems to be what you get when you ask opinions. I realize it's mostly an exercise in thinking out loud trying to decide.

Maybe just consider painting the spokes? I'm leaning that way.

Currently none
Black spokes on silver rims would give a real custom look if you have the patience for the detail work.

I think Audi Reps and new rubber like Jettawolfs car would not only "appreciate" the value but make it a head turner. I wouldn't paint your rims, rather use them for winter weather or sell them on vortex to people in snow belt regions.

Here's a guy in NJ selling a set of Classics, with brand new tires. We went this route back in 2006 with our PK2 MKV Jetta.

Look around though. There are some great deals out there and you won't have to repaint anything.

Put the summer tires and wash it.
