I think that the lastest generation of common rail engines have the same reluctance to swallow high sulphur content diesel as the V.A.G. unit injection engines.
I was in one of the new commom rail Renaults recently and it was seriously good.
I almost operated the started when the engine was running as I thought it had stalled, it was so quiet.
Even the very latest "PD" engines will not even be coming to Britain as it requires NO SULPHUR diesel at the moment only available in Germany.
