So here's the details.Changed the DMF. I made a pretty big mistake. I did not tighten the starter.. my child told me that the car was loud when starting- 4 days later. The car runs and drives and shifts great... Now I have the PRNDL FLASHING. Never had it before tonight... Any suggestions? I did do vagcom tonight to recalibrate the shift plates.thanks .ED

That should leave a fault code in the trans controller.
Find out what it is.
It is possible that you did not do the VCDS basic setting adaptation correctly.

I apparently did not do the basic settings correctly... I will try later when I get home from work. Thanks.

Maybe.
I had this happen once and the trans wound up needing a new mechatronic unit.
When I did the basic settings reset, it could not re-adapt to the point where it did not have issues. I believe it had something to do with the fluid system pressure.

Hope that it was a procedural problem.

I did Group 061,060,062 could not do,067,068,065,063 ,069
...I get flashing PRNDS before I can even do the PERFORM TEST DRIVE.
I GET fault 18223 - pressure control valve and 18228 - pressure control valve 2
I was driving the car up until I did this procedure...? Any helpful advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance
