Default Anyone still like to meet ? NC?

I was just wondering....
is there ANY interest in a small gathering of like minded TDI folks....

My inquiry is generally thinking a NON work GTG, or some minor tinkering under the hood.....showing off and chatting more or less.

I know there USED to be an enthusiastic group in the Carolinas, an folks came from places far and near....

I would go through some trouble myself, but this is more of a...

"pre Pre-planning post"...
I don't Facebook, and have not spoken with other TDIclubbers..

I just miss all the good times from Asheville to Chapin, and beyond!
..

Anyone else want to start up something, and have time to help organize..
?

I say that most people are still interested in a traditional TDI GTG. People won't travel long distances for a coffee talk. The problem is that there has not been anyone to step up that has the space and the interest. I will not have the space for a few years and will not have time for a few months. I hope you can find someone to work with to get it started.

Hi

I have family near Raleigh ....
Maybe kill 2 birds with 1 stone?

If nearby I'm interested but sometimes work is crazy...

Let me know what happens...

Yes I would be interested in a GTG
Its been a long time since Chapin and Asheville

since I relocated to eastern NC and have stabilized some medical issues , I have no problem traveling as before.

I frequent a few facebook sites but not my thing ,

Oh man! I thought these kind of things had died out. Although we are just a few years older we are still the same old crew that was crazy enough to drive great distances to meet in DanG144's back yard in the middle of winter. Thanks to his lovely wife and others who kept us warm and our bellys full.
I would love to meet and see you guys and gals again.

In Winston Salem here, but definitely would be willing to travel to a gathering.
