Not hunting for this per se, but while the little TDI was up on the rack I noticed the driver's side tie rod boot had what appears to be leakage (from the steering rack)?
Thought? Is it possible to 'rebuild' a rack (w/new seals, etc.), or does this one need completely replaced? The PS Pump area looks nice and tidy, with no leaks at all. You'll notice I have previously removed this inner tie rod to replace (~200k miles).
