The 1Z pump has DE015 camplate with specs very close to Renault DE125 IIRC. DE110 is from e.g AFN, ALH and has higher lift. Best use a DE143 if available.

from what pump/car is that camplate? some idi pump have more lift but they are not use for tdi because idi vs tdi have a different injection duration.

What about the DE015? Someone says that during tests and measurements was this camplate best. I don't know if that is truth. Is there any documentation of the camplates?

Camplate needs to be > 3.5mm lift if you want more but pump limited by rpm in that case

Giles tried a much higher lift camplate with my pump build but only DE143 could do 5k rpm on bench with 12mm pumphead..

What is lift on DE015 and DE643?

I am going to try DE015 camplate with 14mm head. I think it is 2.8-2.9mm lift.

Hi, I have changed the camplate to DE143 from stock DE015.

Somebody said that I will have to change the quantity adjuster too if I want to use all the potencial of the de143.

I have measured the stroke of both adjusteres but if one has number 46 (10mm pump) and the second 48 (11mm pump), both have 2,7mm stroke, so no difference, that is strange.

If I havé 3,2mm camplate and 2,7mm adjuster stroke, I can't use all the potential of that camplate.

Hi all,
I had pitting on old cam plate in the pump - 11mm+de110, so I have swapped the cam plate to de643. DE643 cam have longer stroke. I have now much better spool up, +600mbar at same rpm. It is fuc..ng crazy, lot of gray smoke in high rpm. Rotor head have shorter springs-aprox. -2.5mm now. SOI no problem 20°BTDC (85% DC (DC upper limit pushed to 98,5%)) and without lift pump (PP764+11mm+DE643 and 4500mV on pump(3700-4700rpm)).
If any one have experience with this cam, plese PM me. I would like to share my experience and modify my soft correctly.

Nice so better spool at low rpm because more fuel first part of camplate
You say grey smoke at high rpm wash it with de110 no smoke ore black smoke

with de110 no smoke ore black smoke
That is question or advice?
With this cam I have longer ,,duration". So I´m thinking about advancing SOI and lowering voltage on N146. But I´m not sure if my 20 years old con rods can handle.
