Looking to put a roof rack and mount a snowboard rack on my TDI sedan. Are there any members who can steer me to a good rack that doesn't tip the scales at $440+? Thanks!

Do you have the MK4 or MK5 body? 2005 is a changeover year. Try looking in your local Craigslist. I see them for half price usually.

Thule I like the long bars, room for 4x8 sheet of plywood and a cartop carrier !
