Hey Folks!
So i recently purchased a 2010 Touareg TDI (and by recent i mean last September
)And i seem to have a problem i just cannot shake,
The Problem
Driver Door and only the Driver Door does not lock Electronically
The Circumstances
Lock the doors via the Fob, All doors except the Driver Door will lock, alarm arms. Driver door remains unlocked.
From inside the car, push any door lock button, again all doors except driver door lock.
If i drive and autolock activates, all doors except driver door lock.
The unlock function works perfectly fine.
Only way to lock the door is to stick the key into the barrel and do it manually.
The vehicle knows when the door is opened and when it is closed, MAF and lights concluded this.
What I've done so far
So I've done a complete auto-scan (logs attached) EDIT: seems i cannot post attachments... Look at the code
I've tried replacing the doorlock module... changed nothing
Check the wires in the door, and in the hinge rubber tube thing... all fine
You'll notice in the logs theres an issue with the radio.. i changed it for aftermarket android radio, comes with a canbus adapter... (not that it matters, had the problem since before radio change) I only mention this because some people said radio may be the culprit
I tried logging into the door and doing an output test... Communication error. cant connect to the door.
Also, there seems to be a dump truck of malfunctions with my vehicle, mostly all related to the central convenience and a data line... i honestly dont know what to do about that or how to fix it... not sure if everything is all related, or if i have multiple problems ... I dont know where to do from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
