Great to hear that you were able to install the FMIC with relative ease. It's always so frustrating when you order the less expensive part/kit, but end up doing way more work to make it fit versus buying the more expensive part/kit and breezing through the install because all the pieces were engineered specifically for your car.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I wouldn't mind seeing pictures of how the install went and for anyone that finds this thread in the future it'll help them out too.;)

those kind of suck hard
unless you're running the stock turbo you're going to see about 10 psi drop across the core

go with the cross flow style with the air going through the larger dimension
