Smf?

Greetings all

I am contemplating changing an ALH from the stock DMF to a SMF and wonder if the clutch and flywheel from an AHU will work. If anyone has any experience with this I would like to know how it worked out.

I am also curious about how much power the stock AHU clutch can handle, since a stage 1 Malone tune and PP520 nozzles are a distinct possibility.

I'm running a G60 SMF in my ALH Vanagon with a Stage 1 Malone tune. It did not slip any at all pulling the 1250 PopUp camper for almost 11k miles in 33 days!

It uses the Vanagon 228mm Clutch Disc due to spline fitment on the transmission. The pressure plate is a stock Sachs.
