2001 Stage 3 ECU in 2002 Jetta TDI

99.5 Jetta 5-Speed, 01 Jetta 5-Speed, 02 Jetta 5-Speed Conversion, 04 Passat 5-Speed Conversion, 05 Passat 5-Speed Conversion, 05 Passat Wagon
Bought a stage 3 ecu from a fellow who had it in his 01 Jetta 5-speed. Dropped it in my 02 Jetta 5-speed and the airbag light flashed and cel is on. Also the car bucks hard under 1500rpm.

Now I'm finding out the ecu's are different from 01 to 02.
