98 jetta tdi lost power

jetta has almost no power going up hills. seams the harder i push on the peddle the slower it goes. used to run lake a bear any thing i can do?

There is a lot of information on this web site you could spend hours reading. Most common causes dirty fuel filter, air intake restriction, faulty mass airflow sensor, turbo boost leak at hose connections etc.

i will change the fuel filter that seams the easyest thanks

You have an A3 Jetta it is quite a different car.......

I had the same problem. I replaced the vacuum lines from the N75 and that fixed it all up
