So I'm picking up a new/used 2016 1.4 tsi this weekend. For those of you that made the switch or bought one for the hell of it, did you install a gauge or blow off valve yet.. Is it just me or is the car too quiet?

By the way, I have a special request: Please let us know how often you need to clean the intake manifold. I'm just wondering how it compares with the ALH TDI engines. Some people claim there is no longer a need for that cleaning on ALH or any other engine due to ultra low sulfur diesel, but while it may not be as often, I'm not buying that it will never need doing again.

I picked up the car Friday morning, so far I have no complaints, I'm loving it so is everyone around me all positive vibes. like I said the car to me seems really quiet, my GF agrees (the two most important opinions). I still thinking about installing the BOV, its not something that I need done right away, also looking at using a old cell phone and torque and my boost gauge, oil temp etc....
