Mk4 abs deleted

Has anyone installed a proportioning valve in mk4 golf? I shaved my engine bay and removed the abs module. I need to fit a valve but not sure what to go with. Wilwood makes a nice adjustable valve but not sure if that will work. If anyone has done this please get back to me!

look at the setup the 98 Beetle had for the brake system. The early ones didn't have ABS. they had a proportioning valve attached to a lever that went to the rear beam like mk3's

Yeah I saw those. Didn’t know beetles had them though. Guess the master cylinder and brake line set up needs to be changed out to it?

the master cylinder itself is the same from what I remember.. you'll have to modify the lines for sure..

Thanks for the info sir. I have to run all new lines to the rear anyways. So I’m sure I can figure out how to tie it all together. Much appreciated!
