Yes, it is pretty normal 32,000-40,000 miles, some have gotten a deviation to 95,000 miles. If you are planning on staying with OEM tires, a curious thing is the GY LS-H's (71.) and M MxvX4's (108) do not have mileage warranties, while the Continental's CH95?(55) have a 60,000 mile warranty. So if I stay with one of the oems, the Continental's make a lot of economic sense.
I have the GY LS-H's . For as much as they are bad mouthed, they have 47,000 miles and are sitting at 6.5- almost 7.5/32 ins remaining. So for the sake of discussion say 7/32 is remaining. Given a wear range of 13,000- 15,000 miles per 1/32 in, the projection is 104,000 to 120,000 miles. This tire starts at 10/32in and 2/32in is legally bald. Frankly, I'd be thrill to get between 85,000-100,000 miles. I do a 5 tire rotation each 10k and run 36-38 psi fronts and 34-36 psi rears. so far I have taken one nail that was removed and patched and is still part of the rotation.
I have a top 10 list of tires that I am considering, so if interested I can post.
