With all of these various problems of the past few years spanning multiple platforms, you have to wonder what happened to the quality control? Not like a window regulator, but these are big deal items. Camshafts, Balance shafts, DMF's, DSG's, HPFP's, Fuel lines, iced Intercoolers, etc.
Just don't understand how a corporation (VW/Audi) that can win so many endurance races, spanning so many years, with huge amounts of technical ability and financial resources, can put out a product(s) that seems so short on R&D.
