Question for the experts

I'm looking at the 20K mile automatic tranny fluid change as recommended by the owner's manual for my 2012 TDI Sportwagen.
I'm actively shopping to replace it so longevity is not an issue.
What is your experience pushing the envelope on the 20K? How much is too much?

If it is the DSG I thought the interval was 40k.
Regardless, don't worry too much about the exact miles.
Some people doing the buy-back stopped doing expensive
maintenance items and haven't reported any failures that I know of.

Yep, interval is 40k for DSG, 50K non-DSG auto according to the maint sched. Concur with all other points as well.
