I noticed on cold mornings that I cannot read the last digit on the tripmeter - the digit after the decimal place.

When the car warms up, it slowly appears.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Thanks.

Edit: By cold, I mean below or near freezing.

I don't know if it happens to anyone else because I don't have my car yet, and it rarely gets below freezing where I live anyway, but that is a common problem with LCD displays, they don't work well below freezing. It's because they use a long polymer as the display compound, which is a liquid. It twists on application of an electric field to block light and turn black. If it is too cold, it won't twist.
Try turning on your panel lights (by turning on the head or parking lights) and it should warm up faster.
