what model of oil and oil filter do I need?

car - vw passat b5, 1.9diesel, year 2000

See if Pentosin 5w-40 High Performance II motor oil will work.

What does your owner's manual say as far as oil requirements?

I don't think Impex or Bora ship to Europe, and even if they did it would be cost-prohibitive for oil.

This site is largely U.S. based, and we didn't get that car or engine over here, so I doubt you will get much feedback to your questions.

Also, you might get more useful feedback on the UK VW-Audi forums, including where to purchase. While there are lots of oil products sold both in Europe and in the U.S., there are also lots of local favorites here not available there and vice versa.

Didn't want to create another topic, but do you know how it's called in English correctly ? Like my car exhaust pipe hanger, I think there are three of them and I need to replace the middle one, but I don't know how you call this ? Exhaust rubber ?

Check the Luquimoly web site for the correct oil. They have several oils that meet the VW specs. Luqimolly is a German company and I have seen their oil sold and used all over Europe and Central Asia. Excellent lubricants that I have used for years in my Mercedes, Subarus and now VW.
