Anybody has any good experience with aftermarket engine mounts? If so, what brand?

I started getting slight vibs under load around 2000rpm. Changed to new aftermarket engine mounts. Now it vibrates at all rpms.

If I have to spring for VW parts, what is the best source?

My car is 5 speed , BSM delete, tuned to 180hp. Its been running great and butter smooth for about 100 000km in that configuration.

Thanks

No sir. I tried that route many years ago and found out what you did. Have bought VW mounts ever since. Go to BE. Several people claim OEM but they are not.

Same experience here. Found the greatest improvement in replacing the transmission mounts compared to the engine mounts (in terms of vibration reduction). BSM deleted with a 6spd in my car.

Went OEM with both sets of mounts.
