Yet there are tach gauges in the automatics, what's the point? To make me sad?

I prefer semiautomatics too! The full automatics are too much trouble!!

I have 3 cars, 1 Manual.....My 2015 Jetta SEL TDI with every option and a stick shift! My Wife now drives it daily! .....I drive the 2014 BMW 328D with the 8 speed Automatic one sweet ride! And my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee also Automatic! Nice old vehicle!
