At least not with a TDI engine... We have gasser 4-motion machines. Yes it is sad. We all drool over here over your offerings! But you are more than welcome to share your country's TDI cars as we all love looking at what is available! :)

I like to share ..

Had I not found this forum, I would not come up with the idea to build a VNT22 on my AFN.

If you want to know anything about the German Engine, ask me..

What makes the AFN different from the 1Z? From what I've read : injector nozzle size and ECM? I know the exhaust manifold is different but is this because of the audi application?

The AFN is different to the 1Z in

- 0.205 nozzles instead of 0.184
- VNT Turbo istead of Wastegate
- ECU of course
- Dual-Mass Flywheel instead of Single-Mass (AFN 219mm Clutch and 1Z 228mm)

Sven - Thanks for posting this! Very cool project! I have been looking for some evidence that there was a B4 was sold in Europe with syncro. What model year is it? You can see I am heading in the same direction only starting with a VR6 2 wheel drive...

Are those the original Catalysts from the VR6? Do they work on diesels? It looks like in one of your pictures that the front to rear drive shaft is ABOVE the heat shield...or did you have the shaft remove for the photo?

By the way your English is far better than my German.

Yeah, i´ve seen it already.
It´s an 96.
The B4 syncro was sold in Europe only as 2.0 116hp and VR6 184hp.

No, the Catalysts are from a Golf MK3 1Z Syncro.
