Intake Manifold

If I remove the intake manifold for cleaning is it recommended that I replace the gasket?

Also I have Bentley Publishers Manual but I am having troubles getting it to work on my computer ( the old one is long gone).

Has any one used the all data online manual?

The metal gasket is usually reused.

They are $4.

they can be reused but as cheap as they are why?

The more important question is, do you plan to clean the Intake Ports in the head?

In my opinion, if you remove the Intake Manifold for cleaning and don't clean the Intake Ports in the head, well, you've only done half the job. (You don't want any of that flaky stuff breaking off and entering the cylinders, lodging under an intake valve or landing on top of a piston.)
