Car located in SF/Bay area.
Good:solid older TDI. One owner since new, maintained by same mechanic since warranty expired. Clean title. Consistently gets 45+mpg. All systems work, including radio, CD and air conditioning. Clean interior except for one lightly unstitched seam on back of driver's seat. Has non-leaking sunroof. Panzer skid plate installed. Nearly new tires Kept in car port since new, Registered in CA through Sept.
Odometer reads @203,800. Timing belt replaced at 193,750 miles (have receipt)
Transmission, clutch, half shafts and wheel bearings replaced 2015 after major internal gearbox failure. Run on Mobile 1 synthetic 5w40 since off warranty.
Bad: crack in upper right corner of windshield. Parking lot dents and nasty scrape on right rear plastic bumper panel. (Matched spray can and tin of color, primer and clear coat from professional body shop suppler included) Shift boot is intact but leather is getting ratty and discolored.
Send e-mail for pics. An "Ebay" price for the car would be slightly over 4, (See read-me's at beginning of this forum) but I'm much more realistic so please make offer.
