Yes, a friend of mine has, at least once. But the amount was never in question, at least not for anyone who's read any of the relevant court documents.

Sold mine back Wednesday with salvage title and significant front end damage-- had to drive it around the lot for the buyback lady--- end of saga!

Congrats! Been wondering how yours turned out. Hope it wasn't around the dealership lot for 10 miles.

Did you receive the full buyback amount or was it reduced because of the salvage title?

Buyback value is non-negotiable. It's all or none (per the settlement tables).

Why do you keep asking this question? What makes you think the answer is going to change, or that some buybacks will get different amounts than others?

I asked once before. Sometimes it's nice to hear it from more than 1 source. I read several other threads and haven't seen anyone personally say that they had received the whole amount other than you saying a friend had. I don't know you and no offense but some people talk crap. Please don't take that wrong, you probably know what you are talking about.as it appears from your posts that you have read the settlement. I won't ask a third time...

HAHA! No, but it felt like it at first, because the tow truck driver dropped it off at the collision center waaaayyyy in the back of the lot. (can't blame him, makes sense)
And I did in fact get the full amount! And half of it went straight away to student loans!

So the consensus seems to be a salvaged gen 1 cjaa mk6 Jetta is being bought back depending on your specialist's preference of condition.
If I find a salvaged vehicle now, without mentioning the emissions fix can you just give a dealership a VIN to confirm if the job was done? The portal has proven to be a bit inconsistent on moneys paid out.
Obviously there has been an issue on being put last in line but if I can get paid out, why not?
