Where are the black plugs? In the fuel outlet where it connects to the port on the head?

I’m surprised it would run at all. So have you managed to correct that and get it running normally?

Take it off, clean the surface good and put a little gasket maker on the gasket then put it all back together.

^ Yes, what he said. I'm guessing you reused the gasket and that's why it leaked?

Those gaskets are difficult to install 100% leak free even when new. Diesel fuel can seep through the slightest imperfection.

I've even used a thin coat of form-a-gasket on new ones. That works. Make sure all surfaces are clean and dry.

okay,
Put a new gasket on with a very thin application of high temp gasket maker keeping away from the fuel passages ( worried about it clogging my injectors) and let it sit over night and no leaks!

And sense then its fired right up every morning.

Guess it was just the tandem pump.

Thank you guys so much for helping me out!

I am so glad I bought some wyze cameras to keep a eye on my daughter while trying to fix this thing, the audio sucks but there cheap and otherwise awesome.
This is my little angel watching a movie while I was fixing the jetta.
