• The TDIClub classifieds section is a heavily trafficked section of the forum that encompasses want-to-buy (WTB) and for-sale (FS) threads for the entire world. Due to the demanding nature and fast pace of this section, it is imperative that you know and understand the rules. It is also important to remember that this is the only parts classifieds section.

Cross-posting and posting classifieds in the regional sections (except the dedicated thread in Ontario) is not permitted.

Multiple items should be sold in one thread. Make sure to provide a description for all items in your post along with pictures and prices. If you start multiple threads with individual items, they will be locked or combined at the discretion of the moderators.

Here is a quick outline of the classifieds section rules. If you don't follow these rules, you subject yourself to thread deletion, thread combination, infractions, or posting privilege revocation.

    Thread titles:
    • Put FS or WTB in your thread title. This will let other users know if you are selling or buying.
    • Briefly describe what you are selling. Thread titles have limited space. Be as descriptive, yet succinct, as possible.
    • Put your location in the title.
    • If space allows, put your price in the title

Title example (single item): "FS: 2004 Mk4/BEW cylinder head - Portland, OR - $500"
Title example (multiple items): "FS: MK6 fog lights, front bumper, headlights, grill - Detroit, MI"
Title example (car part-out): "FS: Mk3 Jetta parting out engine & interior - Dallas, TX"

    Thread text descriptions and pictures:
    • All for-sale threads must include pictures of the items that you are selling. One picture is sufficient, but multiple pictures with different angles will help buyers. A picture is worth a thousand words. If you don't know how to post pictures on TDIClub, see this thread: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=286691
    • All for-sale threads must include a description. We don't charge per-word, so be as descriptive as possible. The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for buyers.
    • All for-sale threads must include a price. Auctions and bidding are not allowed. If you want to auction something off, use eBay.
No picture, no price, NO SALE!

    Thread maintenance/updates/bumps:
    • When you sell something, update your thread with "SOLD!" Moderators will close the thread and update the title.
    • If you have multiple items for sale, update your thread as each item has been sold. When everything has been sold, updated the thread with "ALL ITEMS SOLD!" Moderators will close the thread and update the title when all items have been sold.
    • If you bump your thread, please delete old bumps by clicking on EDIT and then deleting the old bump. This will reduce clutter in your thread and make it easier to read. It also makes you look less desperate.
    • If you drop your price, please update your first post in addition to posting the new price. If you would like the thread title changed, click on the report post icon and let a moderator know what you would like the title changed to.

    Moderator intervention and infraction points:
Moderators will be monitoring the classifieds section. If a moderator determines that you have not been following the rules listed above, corrections will be made and infraction points will be assessed to your account.

What is an infraction point? Simple - it's a system of keeping track of user behavior. A moderator can assign a point value based on the severity of the infraction, as well as an expiration date on the points assessed. If you accumulate a certain number of points, the system will auto-ban you for a predefined amount of time. The more points you accumulate, the longer your ban period will be.

One example of points is as follows: multiple threads will be combined into a single thread, with the number of infraction points assessed corresponding to the number of threads merged. If we merge four threads into one, then you will be assessed four points that expire in 30 days. When you reach five points, the system will auto-ban you for one day.*

*This is an example based on the current infraction system structure. We reserve the right to modify the infraction system at any time without notice or updates to this announcement.

Thank you for your cooperation, and good luck with your sales and searches! :)

SOLD!!!

I bought my first VW back in January, a 2011 TDI Sedan. I love the car and wanted to install the underseat drawer on the driver seat. They came in yesterday and I went to work this afternoon. Much to my dismay, they do not fit in the 2011 sedan. Rather than ship this thing back to Germany and deal with the return process, I thought I'd try to sell it here. The drawer, bracket, rivets and screws are all included. Everything is in perfect condition. The numbers on the bottom of the drawer are: Z5B 1K0 882 599B and 1K0 882 605. Please verify that these numbers will work in your vehicle. I can verify which vehicle they do NOT work in...

I am asking $85 shipped. They will go out no later than the next business day after payment is received. I also have a set of triple square bits I can send with it if you would like for an additional $5. Paypal only.

Yes, I am new here, and I don't have ANY rep. You can check my ebay feedback under the same username. It is 100% with no negatives. Help a fellow TDI owner out by not making me deal with return mess to Germany and save yourself some time and money. Pics below.

Where in North Carolina are you located? I need to check under the Driver's side seat to see if there are any obstructions to overcome.

I live in Garner, work in Cary—both suburbs of Raleigh. I'm fairly certain this drawer will work on the 2010. Where are you located?

FYI--if you want to pick it up, I'll knock $10 off.

Will an H&K USP Compact 9mm fit in there? If so, I gotta find a way to put one of those in my Golf...
I'm not sure of the specs on the USP, but it might. I've heard of others that carry a Glock 26/27 in there. I bought it for my Ruger LCR, but I'll have to figure something else out now. These may fit in the Golf. You could check!

comming for a millitary perspective, under the seat weapenery is pointless. i can have my way with you (figurativly speaking) before you get it out. i would fork ouver the money, get a C&C licence. and get a belt mounted holster. and when in the car, position it so that its easy to get to WITH a seat belt on. with the training ive had (as a us army driver) i can tell you that with situational awareness, your best bet to comfromt a threat from the drivers seat, is with a belt mounted (or thy mounted) holster. just my .02 sents in the idea of storing a fire arm in a under seat deawer.

on a second note, why not use the JUDGE or at least a 1911?

It isn't a normal carry spot for me. If would be more of a short term storage since you can't carry it everywhere.

Um, I'm not in the military, so a military perspective is kinda useless to me. In this country, I rarely worry about ambushes driving down I-70 between St. Louis and Denver at 75mph. Primarily what I'd like is a place to store it on a 10+ hour drive cross country where it's not grinding into my love handles all day. I probably own the most comfortable concealed carry holster ever made, but even it gets tiresome after sitting in the car for 10-15 hours a day. I already have a CCP, in two different states, which means I'm legal in about 38. Most states will not allow you to carry a loaded gun in a car within reach of the driver without a CCP.

A Kingston style seat holster would probably be the most ideal solution to get it off my hip and keep it close at hand for use, but it's also a great way to freak out a cop when he walks over to the car and sees a gun sticking out between your knees. I much prefer having the officer not see it, and to hand over my CCP along with my driver's license, and politely explain I am licensed, armed, and where the weapon is located. It's a lot better than having a gun pulled on you while being screamed at to get out of the car and lie face down on the ground. I once stared down the business end of an AR-15 wielded by a Michigan State Trooper, who was ready to use it. Once the situation was diffused and he ascertained that the fully Automatic MP5 I was shooting on a gun range on private property was fully licensed and legal, we had a good laugh about it and he even shot a couple mags from the MP5 before he left. Nonetheless, it's not something I'd prefer to repeat. And, like I said, since I'm not terribly worried about an ambush on interstate highways in the US, an under seat drawer seems to be a decent compromise.

On a long trip in the Land Cruiser, I keep it in the center console, and transfer it to my IWB holster when getting out of the car. But that's not an option with the A4 cars, since the center console is hardly big enough for anything.

The Judge? By Taurus? With all of your military expertise, are you really suggesting a 36 ounce handgun as a concealed carry weapon? And there's nothing wrong with a 1911 as a concealed carry weapon, especially one like the Kimber Ultra-Carry II. But with the USP, I have a positive safety, a passive safety and can choose to use it either or both ways. I can carry it cocked and locked like a 1911, or in DA/SA mode like a Glock or SIG, or in DA/SA mode with the positive safety. It's extremely accurate, and very reliable. And I believe that well placed shots are more important that bigger rounds. I know the 1911 has a storied history, and is the gun my grandpa shot in the big WW2. But you know, if he had had a USP, he might have preferred it too. Besides, when it comes to old guns, I much prefer the Hi-Power. I'd maybe carry my Browning MkIII Hi Power Practical if it wasn't so damn pretty, and if I didn't worry so much about marring the finish with holster wear.

Alright, back on topic, please! I just want to sell this drawer, not debate the merits of any firearm or carry method. Although, I'd take any that have been mentioned here...

This is the part I ordered from tmtuning: IN-282-4. The part number on the kit package is 1K0-882-601-J -82V. I''m trying to look at the different year kits and it looks like this works in a Volkswagen Jetta VI Sportwagen TDI, though, that part number is different as well. Here is the link to this drawer: http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Jetta_VI-Sportwagen-TDI/Interior/Seat/ES1866783/
