Video Find: VW Passat Ad Promotes Diesel Range, Learning New Languages

Wasn't there a plan to start a whole barrage of ads on Sept. 15? The above ad is the only one that has surfaced online. Or is that barrage supposed to happen whenever the rollout of cars really happens, i.e. only once the entire stockpile has been moved to dealer lots?

The car in the ad is EXACTLY like the one I have on order. If mine shows up with 795 miles on it and a empty bag of chips, I'll be pissed!!

On another note, the car in the ad is a TDI SE with no sunroof which by default makes it a manual tranny unit, correct? Aren't those dubbed in auto tranny shifting sounds when they do a close up on the two guys? oops...
