Rust free 2006 jetta stage 1.5 Malone - Indiana 46562

2006 vw jetta tdi. 310,000 miles. 5 speed manual trans.

The good:
Runs and drives great.
Stage 1.5 Malone according to previous owner

Timing belt and cam changed ~15k miles ago.

Heated seats
Tinted windows
All power options work
No rust - was a western car until recently
Recent oil change

The bad
Driver seat lumbar is worn through
Gauge cluster screen fades out when the car gets warm
Airbag light is on - vcds says driver seat airbag ignitor

This car is in great shape, runs and drives great. Needs nothing. No rust - most vws of this Era have rusty Fenders, rockers and/or quarter panels. no lowballs. Serious buyers only.

That abs light is probably the drivers door wiring harness... Ask me how i know.

dont have an abs light. have an airbag light. VCDS says its the driver seat ignitor.

Sorry thats what i meant AIRBAG light.

There was a recall at some point for the seat airbag harness being too short. They have basically removed the connector under the seat and used crimp connectors. Obviously they've done a bad job. Once in a while my airbag light also comes up caused by it. I just grab some pliers, locate the wires under the seat and I tighten up the crimp connectors. After that I clear the error with VCDS. There are 3 wires if I am not mistaken.
