Sunroof is DEAD

I have a 2000 Golf and the sunroof was working fine up until last week when it just completely died. I replaced the motor with a known working one, nothing at all, I back stepped and checked the fuse (#30) and it was blown. I replaced it and still nothing. It hasn't blown the fuse again, opens smoothly with the allen key, but it does nothing with the switch. I've double checked the connection to the motor and the switch and everything seems good. What am I missing?

At the base of the pillar they're plugs that the wires connect in and broken wires are possible.
