I recently purchased this vehicle, and am working on getting the bugs worked out of it. It is a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta GLS TDI wagon with the 1.9 liter BEW turbo diesel, and the AG5/09A tiptronic 5 speed automatic transmission. The one issue I'm having problems with diagnosing is the cruise control. I can watch the vehicle speed under the auto trans control module in VCDS, but if I try to watch vehicle speed under the engine control module, it gives me nothing. The speedometer is working fine on it, and the transmission is shifting normally. I'll post the autoscan I took of the car below, as well as a media fire link to download the .csv files that VCDS logged while I was test driving it at highway speeds. I'm at the point where I'm thinking of replacing the vehicle speed sensor, however I am told that requires removal of the transmission. Other issues that the vehicle has that I am aware of is the camshaft position sensor, and the front right wheel speed sensor. The wheel speed sensor itself is the issue with the ABS, when the tone ring came off the hub it wore into the front of the sensor creating a large air gap. It also has an aftermarket radio installed by the previous owner, and I have been told that can cause some odd issues. Please let me know your thoughts.
