Hi all,
Bought a PD150 ARL Leon FR+ a few months ago as a daily.
Its 2005, 139k on clock, I have just serviced it.
its got an unknown tune on it, old owner said it was a custom "Stage 1.5" basically said they pushed a little more than Stage 1 as it has a upgraded clutch + smf, it also has EGR delete.
Above 3000rpm in 4th gear + its smokes like hell and feels flat, it also has quite a high pitched squeal occasionally from the turbo, turbo is quite loud as well. So have done some logs using OBD Eleven.
Unfortuntely ran out of road but its about 1900-4100 in 4th gear.
Any thoughts? I'm thinking boost looks ok but the amount of smoke it produces I reckon the map is over fuelling when it could probably make the same amount of boost with a lot less smoke if fuelling was turned down?
Probably going to smoke test it for leaks and fit a metal boost pipe kit.
