And for some laughs, the opposite of a big brake kit, haha... I've got to get the rear power pack brakes installed ASAP.

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I actually think the daylight coming through an open wheel with stock brakes looks cool. The track ready look is cool too, but not cheap.

I think my wheel gap says "I'm not going to the track" but I see the appeal of seeing light through the wheels. Certainly wasn't cheap considering it's purely aesthetic for me but the Rotorlabs kit is a great deal. The 17z kit I bought runs $825 (includes mounting hardware, calipers and rotors). Pads were about $50, brake lines $75 and spacers around $75. Figure another $50-60 for shipping and you're still under $1100 excluding labor. The 18z kit is $150 more.

I have a feeling that fender gap won't be hanging around for long. I just went from a lowered golf on sport springs(stiff) and 17's, to a stock golf on 15's and must admit the ride is much more comfortable. Maybe I'll feel differently once summer rolls around.

You might be surprised, I went from H&R's back to this at the same time the brakes were installed. Added 034 Motorsports fixed camber mounts too but they're coming off next chance I get.

I may try to install this weekend. You say the brake lines worked perfect, were they able to be clipped into an existing mounting tab to keep from flapping around?

I going to have a look at a LBK too . I have my BBK tucked into my 19" BBS's. The rear kit is almost as big as the fronts.

Crazy stopping power even with the trailer attached.

Yes they were, same place as the factory lines. I'll pull a wheel off at some point this weekend and snap a picture.
