At that price, definitely worth a shot - still running the originals, and while they will hold the lid up they don't provide much assist any more. That, and they're looking a bit rusty.

Just an update: shipping was fast, had them in 2 days. Got them put on Saturday evening. Used a quick squirt of White Lithium grease on each of the ball studs before attaching the new struts, and then hit all the hinge pivots.

This is the first time in years the trunk lid lifts itself after being raised slightly, be interesting to see how long the struts last (I cycle my trunk regularly)...
