Default One photo and one question (1z)

Hi folks

Im trying to get to the bottom of my lack of boost problem so have been checking everything and replacing things for new i.e replace all original breather pipes for silicon ones.

When we did the original conversion 3 years ago this pipe (as circled in the photo below) was attached to the air filter housing. Due to lack of space I have to use a oiled cone filter and have nowhere for this pipe to be attached so its just hanging loose as you can see. Up til yesterday this pipe was just kinked and blocked off I decided to open it up and see what happened, well didnt notice anything.

My question is what is this pipe for and how shall i deal with it? Open or closed??

Thanks

With an EGR Delete, that N18 valve becomes useless. All I have done is kept it electronically connected to keep the CEL away. The vacuum hoses are not connected to it and should not be an issue.
