Post Panzer Plate on a NB 2001 Install Question [Photo]

Guys have a question. The Panzer Plate from Diesel Geek is installed on a 2001 NB this afternoon in the rain.

The temps outside were in the 40's and 50's so why not. I took note of something while watching this all take place. The diesel geek plate does not seem to fit into the front valence area as it does on the Jettas and Golfs. I am wondering if anyone here w/a NB has installed this plate and left it external as it's shown here in the photo? Were they installing it incorrectly? Thanks for the replies.

M.D.

Thanks Jim excellent product.

The Panzer does not fit above or within the front spoiler for the New Beetle. The front edge of the plate is right at the rear edge of the radiator support. I would need another pic to be sure.
