Engine part?

I am having some extreme trouble finding the correct air intake duct cover. It's a 2012 VW Jetta TDI 1.9 will this part fit? It never came with one and it's making my engineextremely dirty. It says it won't fit when you type in the VIN number but it's the only part out there that says in the description that it will fit
